M any owners have difficulty training their dogs while balancing a busy life. Some may find it hard to commit to traveling to weekly group classes. For those owners, Our “In-Home” services might be just what they need. A certified professional trainer will come right to the owners home. This way the whole family can participate in the training or behavioral program that will be customized for the dog. They will receive ultra modern / ultra positive training from our certified trainer.

“Canine Liaisons” offers day, evening, and weekend hours to help accommodate the busy pet owner. During the first session the trainer will evaluate the dog and then discuss the individual needs of the owner and of the dog. The trainer will then explain the different plans or options to choose from.

This is not just obedience training, “Canine Liaisons” helps you manage the relationship you have with your dog.

Private training and behavioral consultation in your home

This is our most popular service. A professional trainer will come to your home and design a program that is right for you and your dog. You will receive consultation and written “homework”. The trainer will demonstrate techniques and coach you until you feel comfortable with the assignments. You will be expected to work with your dog for approximately ½ hr daily 5 to 6 days per week during the training period.

“Teaching you how to work with your dog is proven to be the most effective method. After all you live with and influence the dog every day!”

Canine Liaisons can help you with most any training needs you may have. From puppy problems and housebreaking to teaching old dogs new tricks. From standard obedience signals to whatever individual problems you may be experiencing with your canine pal. We can help you.

At Canine Liaisons in home sessions we use non-compulsive, motivational methods. The techniques you will learn appear to the dog as if he is playing a fun new game. Our training is similar to the methods used in dolphin performances and can be compared to the way people with mental challenges may learn. Real teaching that promotes confidence, respect and stimulates the dogs’ natural instincts. These methods will bring the relationship into a whole new light as your dog learns and responds to you.

Behavioral consultation and behavior modification

Canine behavioral problems can range from merely annoying to downright dangerous. Dogs are not humans they have specific behavioral patterns and signals. Learning what your dog is really saying is critical. This is inter-species communication and sometimes you need an interpreter.

If you are experiencing anxiety or aggression problems with your dog the first step is realizing you and your families’ level of commitment to the dog. No dog can succeed well in a behavioral program without long term devotion and fairness. If you can say “this is my pet, my responsibility and I am willing to do whatever it takes to treat the problem” then you are ready to begin behavioral therapy.

Canine Liaisons can provide you with personal guidance to influence your dog’s behavior. We need to work closely with your veterinarian, as this is vital to your pets’ behavioral health.
